About Aerofilms
Aerofilms brings quality films to cinemas—films that we ourselves want to see. We build on our experience with arthouse cinemas, our close relationship with audiences, and our extensive international network of contacts.
Since 2006, when we distributed our first film, we have released more than 450 titles in Czech cinemas. Our catalogue includes works by acclaimed international and Czech filmmakers, including Joachim Trier (Sentimental Value, The Worst Person in the World), Klára Tasovská (I'm Not Everything I Want to Be), Celine Song (Past Lives), Lars von Trier (Nymphomaniac), and Gaspar Noé (Climax).
Live Cinema Broadcasts

We also bring live broadcasts and recorded performances from operas, theatres, and concert halls around the world to cinema audiences. We are the exclusive partner of projects such as The Met: Live in HD and NT Live. In partnership with Dejvické divadlo, we have been presenting live cinema broadcasts of its most popular productions for three consecutive seasons. Over this period, these screenings have attracted nearly 100,000 viewers.

The development of the new Aerofilms.cz website was supported by funding from the European Union.
The aim of the project was to create a modern, clear, and visually engaging website for our company that would effectively communicate the offerings, mission, and brand identity of Aerofilms, while providing users with an intuitive experience when searching for films and information about screenings and live broadcasts. The development involved a complete website redesign aimed at removing outdated elements, simplifying navigation, and strengthening the presentation of visual content, including photography and video, as well as the Aerofilms brand itself. As part of the redesign, updated UX principles were implemented to better serve the needs, interests, and expectations of the website’s diverse user groups, including audiences, cinema operators, journalists, film producers, and business partners.
